Program description

Hashcat is a password recovery tool that supports various operating systems, including Linux, macOS, and Windows.

The program supports password sorting techniques on CPU and GPU resources, as well as in a hybrid format. It is recommended to make the selection on the GPU, since the graphics processor is able to sort through combinations much faster.

For Hashcat to work, it is necessary that the latest versions of the graphics card drivers are installed. For example:

AMD graphics cards on Windows require "AMD Radeon Adrenaline 2020 Edition" (20.2.2 or later);

Intel CPUs require "OpenCL Runtime for Intel Core and Intel Xeon Processors" (16.1.1 or later);

NVIDIA graphics cards require "NVIDIA Driver" (440.64 or later) and the "CUDA Toolkit" (9.0 or later).

It should be remembered that the use of such programs may be illegal and unsafe.
